But let’s face it - diving into a new analytical platform can often feel like a leap of faith.
This is especially true for new users, who can find the range of options a little overwhelming. And if the rest of your team aren’t trained in how to use the platform, then they won’t be geared to find insights in the long run.
Today, we’re opening the doors to our new home page. We’ve designed it to address these issues - it’s super user-friendly, it guides new users towards their first insights, and welcomes everyone onto the platform.
Now, everyone is greeted with a concise walkthrough of the platform, and given a brief glimpse of what’s possible with their feedback data. We’ll also be adding much more personalization to this view over the coming months.

We’ve also taken the time to update all of our documentation, making it more user-friendly, and adding links to relevant sections from each home page tab.
By clicking on the ‘Learn more..’ link found within each tab, you can jump into a rich explanation of how to set up workflows, reports, or how to review your feedback. By making your team more fluent in the language of their data, they’ll be primed to find actionable insights even as customer trends change.
Stay up-to-speed with the latest intel
Learning the theory behind a platform is one thing, but seeing it in practice is another. That’s why we’re including pinned dashboards on the home page, to give everyone a taste of what’s possible with their data.
By default, we’ve selected a series of reports which demonstrate how Chattermill works, tailored to the type of feedback you’re collecting. For example, one highlights your bespoke theme structure, and how your individual themes are performing.
The great news is that you customise which dashboard stays here, so you can stay on top of a metric or dashboard that matters to you, right when you log in.
Simply click the ‘Change’ button from the top right of the pinned dashboard, and select the dashboard you’d like to pin. Alternatively, you can click on the three dots at the top right of any dashboard and select ‘Pin to home page’.

Our home page is available to all of our users, right now. Simply log in and you’ll be greeted by the page straight away. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming months, as we’ll be updating the home page to include even more personalization options.
